DescriptionSmall mosslike fern; rhizome filiform, thin, smooth; frond procumbent, forming mats, persistent after withering, pinnatisect; segments asymmetrical, with oblong, obtuse, dentate lobes; sori solitary near base of distal segments; indusium of 2 ovate valves.
EcologyRocks, tree trunks, among moss, in the wettest maritime regions; certainly much overlooked. Described from Japan.
