Taxonomy
notes
Typical plant with overlapping pinnae is common in most parts of Alaska, but some specimens differ in having more remote, non-overlapping pinnae: var. re- motiuscula Kom.; var. Hookeriana Fern.; var. aquilonaris (Maxon) Gilb.; D. aqui- Jonaris Maxon. The plant thus variously named is not well differentiated from var. fragrans and occurs in less exposed habitats in scattered localities within species range.
