DescriptionSimilar to A. stolonifera, but with taller, upright culms; lacking stolons, but with short, coarse, subterranean runners; panicle ovate; ligules 2-4 mm long; branches divaricate; leaf blades broad; anthers 1-2 mm long.
EcologyIntroduced; waste places, roadsides, yards, fields. Described from Germany.
