DescriptionCulms glabrous, from creeping rhizome; stem leaves 3.5—4 mm broad, scabrous; spikelets short, peduncled; glumes 1-nerved, glabrous, glaucous, hyaline-margined, very scabrous on keel toward purplish, acute apex, the lower lanceolate, the upper ovate to lance-ovate; lemma broad, finely scaberulous, lanate toward base, with long straight hairs at keel and lateral nerves.
