DescriptionCaespitose, yellowish-green, up to 15 cm tall; leaves glabrous; stem leaves 1-3; ligules acute, up to 4 mm long; panicle narrow; spikelets lanceolate, violet, with 2—4 flowers; glumes thin, the lower 1-nerved, the upper longer, 3-nerved; lemma ovate- lanceolate, 3-nerved, pubescent in the lower half.
EcologyStony tundra. Described from Niokornak (western Greenland).
