DescriptionCulms up to 1 meter tall, densely caespitose; leaves 5-10 mm wide, grayish- green, about 7 mm broad; panicle 15-30 cm long, open, drooping, with more than 3 spikelets on the shorter branch at lowest node; glumes narrow, acute; lemma ovate-lanceolate, short-awned, with scarious margin; anthers about 3 mm long.
EcologyRoadsides, yards, waste places; introduced. Described from Germany.
