DescriptionSimilar to B. racemosus, but spikelets longer and less dense; panicle with short, upright branches and spikelets 2 cm long; lemma stiff; margin of lemma, above middle, angular and not evenly bowlike; awns of lower florets 3 mm long and, of the upper, 7 mm long; anthers about 1.5 mm long.
