DescriptionSimilar to subsp. alaskana, but less densely tufted; culm 30-60 cm tall, weaker and often curved; perigynia oval to broadly oval, more abruptly beaked; beak and upper part of perigynia somewhat scabrous.
EcologyMeadows, dry slopes. Described from Azouzetta Lake, British Columbia.
