| Description | Caespitose, with thick, short rootstock; leaves canaliculate, 2-3 mm broad, stiff; spikes 3—4, the terminal with pistillate flowers at top, the lateral mostly pistillate; lowest bract setaceous; scales brown with hyaline margin and green midvein, obtuse; perigynia 3.75-4.5 mm long, green, many-nerved, tapering into bidentate, hyaline- tipped beak 1.25-1.5 mm long; 2 stigmas. | ||
