DescriptionLoosely caespitose; culm thin, usually with 2 short, reddish-sheathed leaves at base; leaves with long, white hairs in the lower part; inflorescence umbellate, rays with few branches; lowest bract much shorter than inflorescence; flowers single; inner perianth leaves somewhat longer than the outer, chestnut-brown, scarious- margined; capsule pale, acuminate, shorter than perianth.
