| Description | Dwarf shrub, with stout branches, somewhat pubescent when young, glabrescent in age; leaves orbicular, often subcordate to obovate-oblong, thick, glaucous be- neath, entire in the margin, glabrous or somewhat pubescent in lower margin; catkins short and thick; bracts obovate, obtuse, brown, with long, white hairs; capsules glabrous, large, plump, distinctly truncate and glaucous, with style up to 1 mm long. | ||
