DescriptionErect annual, simple or branched from base, whitish-farinose above; leaves thick, linear to linear-oblong, 1-nerved, entire, farinose; ends of branches leafless; flowers in dense glomerules; calyx with keeled lobes, completely enclosing fruit; seed 1 mm in diameter, smooth, lustrous.
EcologyWaste places, sandy soil; introduced. Described from Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico.
