DescriptionPlant woody at base, with stout, erect branches; plant pubescent, with coarse, white-to-reddish, stellate hairs mixed with straight hairs; leaves linear, the upper sessile, obtuse with revolute margin; fruiting bracts lanceolate, densely villous.
EcologyRocky places. One collection from Lake Kluane. Described from the banks of the Missouri River.
