DescriptionDark green, caespitose, with short, sterile stems and procumbent or erect, gla- brous or glandular, flowering stems; leaves linear, short-mucronate; cauline leaves diminishing upward, the upper shorter than the internodes, with dense axillary leaf fascicles; sepals 5, ovate-oblong, obtuse; petals white, about twice as long as sepals; capsule longer than sepals.
EcologyMoist places. Described from Europe.
