DescriptionGlabrous annual up to 60 cm tall; basal leaves oblong-lanceolate, upper ovate- lanceolate, cordate, acute; calyx tube inflated, with 5 sharp angles or wings and 5 triangular teeth; petals pale rose, somewhat emarginate, toothed; capsule globular, opening with 4 teeth.
EcologyWaste places; occasionally introduced. Described from Germany.
