DescriptionStem long, floating; leaves dark green, finely dissected, falling together like a soft brush when removed from water; floating leaves lacking; pedicels arching; flowers white, 1-2 cm in diameter; petals not overlapping; stamens 10-15; achenes gla- brous, rugose, with short beak; receptacle glabrous or evenly pubescent.
EcologyShallow water.
