DescriptionStem glabrous or minutely pilose, branching; radical leaves reniform to round- ovate or orbicular, or lobed and toothed; lower cauline leaf petioled; flowers small; sepals reflexed; petals narrow, about as long as sepals, yellow; achenes suborbicular, lustrous, with minute style; receptacle pubescent.
EcologyWoods, thickets; sometimes adventive. Described from Virginia, Canada.
