DescriptionStem hispid, ascending or trailing, often with stolons, rooting at nodes; radical leaves ternate, the leaflets petiolulated, cleft and acutely toothed; sepals hispid, reflexed; petals deep yellow, as long as sepals; achenes larger than in R. pennsyl- vanicus, with long, subulate beak.
EcologyWoods, thickets. Described “from Canada to Mackenzie River, lat. 67°; shores of Hudson Bay to the Pacific.”
