DescriptionVery similar to D. sophia, but more or less densely glandular-pubescent with capitate glands; upper leaves sometimes simply pinnate; siliques sometimes slightly thicker.
EcologyGravel bars, disturbed soil; native. Described from Hudson Bay to Alaska.

Specimens with both stellate and glandular hairs, that occur especially around villages, are considered to be the hybrid D. sophia X sophioides.
