DescriptionSimilar to subsp. Nelsoniana and subsp. Charlottae, but leaves glabrous, often ciliate in margin, thin; ripe follicles inflated, membranaceous; pedicels strongly viscid; leaves with 12—18 teeth; capsules 6—12 mm long.
EcologyHillsides, along streams. See subsps. insularis and Charlottae for ranges of inter- mediates with subsp. pacifica.
