DescriptionRhizome stout; basal leaves glabrous or sparsely hirsute, ovate-cordate, shallowly 5-9-lobed, the lobes unevenly crenate-dentate, long-petiolated; stem sparsely glan- dular, leafless or with small leaves; inflorescence racemose; calyx lobes triangular, spreading or recurved; petals green, pectinately dissected into 6-10 filiform seg- ments; stamens 5; styles almost lacking.
EcologyMoist woods. Described from cultivated specimens from the Rocky Mountains.
