DescriptionShrub with ascending or erect, sparingly pubescent branches; leaves cordate, deeply 5-7-lobed, the lobes acute, sharply and irregularly serrate or double-serrate; racemes erect, up to 20 cm long, loosely flowered; lower bracts foliaceous, lobed; calyx lobes ovate-lanceolate; petals white, cuneate-flabellate, clawed; berry sub- globose, black, strongly glaucous, glandular, with a disagreeable taste.
