DescriptionPlant decumbent or erect; stems from thick, short, dark-brown caudex; basal leaves pinnate; leaflets 5-7, dissected into mostly narrow segments with revolute margin, green above, tomentose beneath; cauline leaves reduced; calyx with long, white, soft hairs; bractlets linear, acute, about as long as the ovate-triangular sepals; petals yellow, nearly orbicular, about as long as sepals; receptacle sparsely white- haired; style not distinctly incrassated at base, not verrucose.
EcologyDry slopes, gravel bars, scree slopes, open ground. Described from “Siberia, Tartaria, and Asia Minor.”
