DescriptionSimilar to subsp. octopetala, but with large leaves, broadest toward apex, strongly ribbed, with several deeply incised teeth, often not densely tomentose beneath but nearly glabrous (f. glabrata Hult.); midvein of underside of leaf with stalked, capi- tate glands, lacking scales.
