DescriptionStems from thick, many-headed caudex; basal leaves pinnate, with glabrous, ovate to oblong, crenate-serrate, sessile or stipitate leaflets; stem tall, finely pubes- cent at base, with 1-2 reduced leaves; spikes ovoid to broadly cylindrical, 1-2 e¢m long, purplish-black; filaments filiform, included or barely exserted. ~
EcologyMoist places. Described from Europe.
