DescriptionStem from stout, woody caudex, covered with sheaths of previous year’s leaves; leaves grayish-green, glabrous, 2-3-pinnate, with lanceolate, acute segments; stem leaves 1-3, with large sheaths; umbel with 8-30 rays, pubescent with white, curved hairs; involucral scales 5-11, lanceolate-linear, pubescent; involucels 5-11; petals white or purplish, broadly obovate; fruit oval, soft-pubescent, with 3 rounded ribs on back and larger marginal ribs.
EcologyStony tundra. Described from Baikal.
