DescriptionStems from thick, yellowish-white root; leaves large, pinnate, with oblong to ovate, toothed leaflets; flowers yellow; 1 large and several smaller umbels; fruit oval, flattened dorsally, lateral and dorsal ribs winged.
EcologyEscaped from cultivation; found in central Alaska at the Tanana hot spring. De- scribed from Europe.
