DescriptionShrub, more than a meter tall; leaves entire, oblanceolate, obtuse, sessile or nearly so, thin, light green; median nerve excurrent, with water gland at tip; flowers soli- tary; calyx lobes 5, linear, ciliolate; flowers rotate, copper-colored; petals distinct, 5, up to 15 mm long; stamens 10; style curved, elongate; fruit a dry capsule.
