DescriptionStem more or less prostrate, usually branched at base; leaves appressed-hispid, opposite, oval to oblong in outline, divided into several oblong, toothed divisions; pedicels longer than leaves; calyx lobes lanceolate; auricles 1-2 mm long; corolla purple, pale in center, with obovate to oblong lobes, longer than tube; capsule round to ovoid.
EcologyAn introduced weed, or escaped from cultivation. Described from California.
