DescriptionSoft-haired, with mixed simple and glandular hairs; stem mostly branched; leaves pinnate or pinnatifid with entire, coarsely toothed or lobed divisions; pedicels glandular; calyx lobes linear; corolla lobes violet, lavender, or white, about as long as tube; tube white; stamens as long as corolla; filaments pubescent; style cleft to about half its length; capsule acute.
EcologySandy places, disturbed soil. Described from Canada between lat. 54° and 64° N.
