DescriptionStems hirsute from branching caudex; basal leaves strigose to hirsute, oblanceolate to narrowly elliptic; cauline leaves several, oblanceolate to lance-elliptic, the upper sessile; pedicels recurved in fruit; corolla blue, with yellowish eye; marginal prickles of nutlet free to base, the intramarginal prickles several or few, much smaller than the marginal.
EcologyRoadsides; probably introduced.
