DescriptionStem simple to branched, spreading-hispid; leaves linear to oblong or ovate, spreading-hispid, not crowded at base; sepals almost equal, free; corolla yellow, 4-7 mm broad, the tube scarcely exserted, throat open, glabrous; stamens inserted above middle of tube; nutlet ovate, tuberculate, and often rugose.
EcologyWaste places; an introduced weed. Type locality not given, presumably the north- west coast of North America.
