DescriptionStem simple, from filiform horizontal rhizome; successive leaf pairs crosswise op- posite, in 4-7 pairs, ovate, dentate-serrate; pedicels longer than flowers; calyx lobes lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, somewhat acute, pubescent but not glandular; corolla blue to violet, with ovate to broadly ovate lobes; capsule elliptic, slightly emarginate, pubescent. :
