DescriptionStems several, slender, villous with spreading hairs, densely so above; leaves narrowly lanceolate, somewhat obtuse, entire or with pair of divaricate lobes; bracts yellow to orange-yellow, ovate, obtuse to rounded, with 1-2 pairs of lateral lobes; calyx yellowish, hirsute to canescent; corolla 10—-13 mm long, puberulent, the upper lip green with pale margins, the lower green with yellow lobes, two-thirds as long as the upper.

A related plant with finely puberulent stem and linear leaves—C. Muelléri Pen- nell, described from Lake Kluane to the Donjek River—is regarded as doubtful until more material is forthcoming.
