DescriptionStem simple or branched, from thick, creeping caudex; basal leaves pinnatifid, arachnoid-pubescent at base, with 3-7 blunt, often toothed lobes; stem leaves re- duced, the upper linear; heads solitary or few; involucral bracts green, with brown, scarious margin; rays of marginal flowers up to 2.5 cm long, several-nerved, white; disk flowers yellow.
EcologyRocks along the seashore. Described from Kamchatka and North America.
