DescriptionStems 1 to several, from taproot with rosettes of leaves; basal leaves twice pin- natifid, with long, linear divisions, glabrous or sparsely silky; heads nearly erect, 3-5 mm broad, hemispherical; involucral bracts rounded to elliptic, green on back, with broad, pale, scarious margin; disk corollas yellow.
EcologyWaste places, roadsides; an introduced weed. Described from Hudson Bay.
