DescriptionStem low, from thin rootstocks; leaves basal, ovate, with cuneate base, slightly repand-dentate or entire, glabrous above, white-tomentose beneath; heads single or 2-3, about 2 cm in diameter; involucral bracts violet, acute, white-pubescent; mar- ginal flowers with yellow ligules.
EcologyStony tundra. Type locality not given.
