DescriptionStem 1-2 meters tall, glabrous, from short caudex; leaves pinnatifid or subpal- mately divided, with oblong, lanceolate, acute, sharply serrulate lobes, dark green above, paler beneath; heads numerous, small, in flat-topped inflorescence; ligules 10 mm long, yellow; achenes glabrous; pappus tawny.
EcologyMeadows on Attu Island. Described from Kamchatka and Bering Island.
