DescriptionOuter leaves linear-lanceolate, dentate, the inner oblong-lanceolate, with broad, short, deltoid lobes; terminal lobe broad, entire or partly dentate; involucrum dark- colored; outer involucral bracts appressed, ovate, often lacking horns, the inner lanceolate to broadly ovate-lanceolate, with horns up to 1.5 mm long or tuberculate; ligules yellow, with olivaceous to purplish stripes; immature achenes pale brick- colored, mature achenes dark brick-red, with beak longer than body.
EcologyMeadows, moist places in the mountains. Described from northeasternmost Siberia.
