DescriptionPetioles usually more or less purplish; outer leaves linear, with broad, triangular lobes, the inner linear-oblanceolate, dissected, with irregular, incised-laciniate lobes; terminal lobe elongate, hastate-sagittate; outer involucral bracts ovate-lanceolate, with short, pale-green horns, the inner lanceolate to linear and darker than the outer; ligules yellow, with olivaceous to purplish striae beneath; achenes brown to olivaceous, smooth below, muriculate above, with beak much longer than body.
EcologyMeadows, moist places in the mountains. Described from the upper Liard River.
