DescriptionLeaves with dark-purplish petioles, deeply lobed, dentate between lobes; lobes attenuate, acute; involucrum dark green; outer involucral bracts broad, with in- distinct tubercle below apex, distinctly scarious-margined, soon reflexed; ligules dark yellow; achenes small, brownish brick-red, with narrow, cylindrical beak.
EcologyAn introduced weed belonging to the section ERyTHROSPERMA. Described from the province of Scania, southern Sweden.
