DescriptionUp to 10 cm tall; rhizome short, scaly, but scales lack median nerve; fronds 1 cm broad, densely tufted; stipes with deep groove, brown in lower part only, with broad, green margins, glabrous; pinnae herbaceous, not evergreen; sori near indis- tinct midvein. Similar to A. trichomanes.
EcologyCrevices in calcareous rocks. Described from England.
