Description | Rhizome stout, ascending, chaffy, covered with old stipe bases, terminating in crown of new fronds; stipes long, densely chaffy, with lustrous, brown, dark-cen- tered scales; frond rigid, coriaceous, evergreen, up to 1 meter long; teeth of pinnae incurved, long, aculeate; sori in 1 to several rows; indusia large, papillose to ciliate. | ||
