DescriptionRhizome stout, ascending, covered with old stipe bases; stipe shorter than blade, chaffy, with pale-brown scales; frond not glandular, ovate to ovate-triangular. tripinnate; basal pinnae triangular, larger and broader than other pinnae; uppe: innermost pinnules of basal pair of pinnae much shorter than lower pinnules.
EcologyWoods, moist places, to about 800 meters in mountains in McKinley Park. Described from Germany.
