Description | Slender, about 50 cm long, usually with submerged stems; leaves narrow, dis- tinctly nerved, elongate, floating on surface of water, upper leaves dilated at base; staminate heads 2-3, congested; pistillate heads 2-3, lower heads peduncled; stigma long; fruit with beak about 2 mm long. | ||
