Taxonomy notes | Var. angustifolia (Nash) Hult. (A. angustifolia Nash; A. macrophylla Nash), probably no more than an ecological variation, has long, narrow, flexible, green panicle, and long, lax, basal leaves and often short first glume. Specimens simulating Cinna latifolia occur, but glumes shorter, spikelets not geniculate, and awn lacking. |
