DescriptionDensely tufted; culms tall; basal leaves numerous, bright green, flat or folded, up to 2 mm wide; ligules 2-5 mm long; panicle narrow, compact, with appressed branches; spikelets 3—-6-flowered, whitish-green; lemmas with rounded back, narrowly lanceolate, with obscure nerves, crisply puberulent on lower half; anthers 1.5-2.5 mm long.
EcologySandy soil. Described from Cascade Mountains of Washington.
