Description | Caespitose, glabrous, glaucous; culms tall, erect or recurved; ligules 1.5-2 mm long; cauline leaves 1-2 mm wide; panicle branches in pairs; spikelets appressed, short-pedicellate; pedicels not or very slightly thickened; spikelets more or less purplish, 4-6 mm long, 3-flowered; glumes distinctly nerved, narrowly white-mar- gined, the second longer; lemmas 5-nerved, glabrous or more or less hairy at base; callus hairs absent; anthers 0.4-0.6 mm long. | ||
