| Description | Similar to C. canescens; upper heads clustered, the lower separated, about 8 mm long and 3 mm thick, the lowest subtended by a flattened, serrulate bract about 2 cm long; scales brown with hyaline margin, the lower acute, the upper obtuse; perigynia 1.5 mm long, 1 mm wide, strongly nerved; beak 0.25 mm long, smooth. | ||
