DescriptionCaespitose; culms as long as the soft, flat, 2-3-mm-broad leaves, or shorter; spikes in dense, prolonged head; perigynia broadest near base, cordate-ovate, with long, serrulate beak; scales acute; staminate flowers inconspicuous at base of spikes.
